The pervasive influence of the internet and technology continually shapes people's perceptions of the world. The prevalence of fragmented information and big data inevitably leads to the cocooning of information. An increasingly inescapable pseudo-environment is created without the individual's awareness.
"Self-recognition" uses mirrors to represent the objective world, utilizing the principle of mirror reflection, creating a tool that can change people's viewing angles, metaphorically emphasizing the need for a multidimensional perspective in our world.
“Self-recognition” simulates two distinct viewpoints – the second-person view ('you') and the third-person perspective ('he/she') – alongside our inherent first-person viewpoint, it assembles into a cohesive, non-traditional 'three-perspective view.' This innovative fusion of design and philosophy invites individuals to explore the layers of perception, challenging conventional perspectives and ushering them into a realm of enriched understanding.
